Job Description: Baker
We have been open for 3 years now and have a creative and hard working pastry team that we are needing to expand. We are looking to add another year round baker to keep up with production, streamline tasks and help grow our menu offerings . There is room for growth and creativity.
We are looking for someone who has baking experience with strong cake decorating and bread baking skills. Candidate needs to be reliable, detail oriented, work well alone as well as with a team. Candidate must be able to multitask effectively, communicate clearly, organize daily tasks in a efficient manor and have a passion for making great food.
Position Responsibilities:
- Setting up the display case
- Ensuring pastries are stocked through out service as well as for the next day
- Communicating to FOH staff about specials and changes in items
- Executing all pastries and breads according to recipes
- Baking all pastries to our standards and meeting daily production schedules
- Organizing special and wholesale orders, keeping pastry display stocked and managing daily inventory
- Keeping a clean, safe and organized work space
Baking and kitchen experience required.
This position is full time Thursday - Sunday 5:30 -3:00 (36 hours)
Starting wage is based on experience.
