Summary
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Desma Operator is responsible for completing all aspects of the desma molding process both safely and efficiently. The Desma Mold Operator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including set-up, operating machines, inspecting parts/tooling, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
· Operate desma molding machines.
· Visual inspection of product
· Cut off excess material.
· Remove cured products from mold.
· Inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
· Ensure conformance to specifications.
· Position and secure assembled mold and mold components.
· Regulate molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time.
· Document and update data sheets to keep relevant.
· Maintain tooling, reporting any defects for repairs.
· Other job duties as assigned by management within or outside of own department as needed.
Requirements
· Excellent work ethic and safety minded.
· Good problem- solving skills.
· Be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
· Willing to work with others as well as being self-motivated.
· Follow all safety and quality standards.
