Schreiber Law, LLC is a multi-state creditors’ rights law firm serving MA, NH, CT, VT, and ME. We are hiring full-time Collections Specialists for our Salem, NH call center to work with consumers in various stages of the legal collections process.
Responsibilities
As a Collections Specialist, you will negotiate repayment of defaulted debts on behalf of our clients. Key duties include:
- Reviewing accounts daily and managing assigned work queues
- Contacting borrowers by phone
- Identifying a borrower’s ability and willingness to pay and recommending appropriate repayment options
- Accurately documenting all account activity in the firm’s system
- Sending required paperwork, following up, and submitting completed documentation promptly
- Meeting or exceeding daily call requirements and weekly/monthly production goals
- Adhering to federal and state collection laws, as well as client and firm policies
Qualifications
- Must pass annual compliance and client policy testing
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of telephone experience preferred (not required)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry
- Basic math skills
- Sales, call center, or telemarketing experience a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
