This is a hands on restaurant management job. You will run the floor, support the General Manager, and jump on the register or grill when it gets busy. It fits someone with fast-casual management experience who holds an active NYC Food Protection Certificate and wants to work right in the middle of a loud, active kitchen.
What You Must Have
- Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1 or more years of fast casual restaurant management experience
- Active NYC Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection (Food Handlers)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand or walk for up to 10 hours (with scheduled breaks)
- Tolerance for loud noise, fluctuating kitchen temperatures, and working around hot oil
- Willingness to work a variable schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Shift Responsibilities
- Direct the crew during your shift to ensure orders are cooked correctly and served on time.
- Work hands-on across all stations, including the cash register, fry station, and grill.
- Open or close the restaurant following exact company checklists.
- Help the General Manager and Assistant General Manager run daily store operations.
- Keep the lobby, prep areas, and restrooms clean and organized.
- Operate the basic point of sale computer system to process customer transactions.
