About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, high-level Loan Officer to serve as the in-house LO for a busy real estate company in the Twin Cities. This role comes with built-in purchase leads from an active real estate operation, while also allowing you the freedom to originate and grow your own pipeline.
This is a great opportunity for a Loan Officer who thrives in a purchase-driven environment, understands complex files, and knows how to structure deals that close.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary in-house Loan Officer for a real estate team/company
- Pre-qualify and pre-approve buyers quickly and accurately
- Structure loan files to meet investor and underwriting guidelines
- Perform detailed income calculations (self-employed, variable income, complex scenarios)
- Communicate clearly with agents, buyers, processors, and underwriters
- Originate and manage your own self-generated loans in addition to provided leads
- Guide borrowers from application through closing with professionalism and urgency
Requirements
- Active NMLS license (Minnesota required)
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer (purchase transactions required)
- Strong knowledge of file structuring, income analysis, and guideline interpretation
- Ability to handle conventional, FHA, VA, and other standard loan products
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- All other licensing, compliance, and education requirements expected of an experienced LO

Pay: $81,468.86 - $200,000.00 per year
