Our medical office is looking for a Medical Assistant who can help staff with patient care and administrative support. Prior experience working with children is preferred. This position requires in-depth knowledge of child-specific illnesses and symptoms, excellent computer skills and the capacity to perform data entry in a quick and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort patients, families, and visitors.
- Collect and record vitals.
- Run in office tests.
- Administer vaccines.
- Draw blood.
- Communicate with the office nurse and providers.
- Provide secretarial support for the office manager.
- Work on forms and reports.
- Maintain office records.
- Cross train with front desk for fill in support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
