HVAC Service Technician
Beasley’s Heating & Cooling is seeking a dependable and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for service, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of HVAC systems.
We are looking for someone who is professional, motivated, and comfortable working with customers in the field. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose HVAC issues, complete service calls efficiently, and take pride in providing quality work and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in mechanical systems and electrical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and prevent future failures.
- Repair plumbing fixtures and mechanical systems related to HVAC setups while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment to support overall building functionality.
- Communicate repair solutions and preventative maintenance to property owners.
- Communicate materials needed to operations team.
- Maintain accountability of equipment and inventory.
- Take ownership of positive customer outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology, and building automation controls.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues using specialized tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in ammonia refrigeration or boiler operation are a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills in field service environments.
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must know how to operate an iphone/android cell phone.
- Comfortable with analog and digital systems.
