The Golf Club At North Hampton is seeking a dependable and motivated Equipment Operator to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of turf maintenance equipment to ensure the golf course is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to providing exceptional playing conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, aerators, and other specialized turf equipment.
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other designated areas.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, including cleaning, fueling, and reporting mechanical issues.
- Assist with bunker maintenance, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
- Work as part of the maintenance team to complete daily course preparation and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating commercial landscaping or turf maintenance equipment preferred.
- Golf course maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
- Overtime may be available during peak season.
