Responsibilities
- Support bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar essentials efficiently throughout shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste in accordance with health standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing simple bar snacks when needed
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed in compliance with health regulations
- Help set up and break down the bar for events, including banquets or special functions
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling and order processing when required
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area promptly to maintain a tidy environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy nightclub or restaurant hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team in fast-paced settings
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, or serving in restaurants or hotel environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
- Previous barista experience or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $6.05 - $6.06 per hour
