Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

At Upgrade Energy, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, products, and inventory move efficiently through our operation. From receiving incoming shipments to preparing customer orders and coordinating outbound freight, your work helps keep the business running smoothly and our customers satisfied.
A Day in the Life
Your day may include:
- Receiving incoming deliveries
- Verifying inventory
- Preparing customer shipments
- Coordinating freight pickups
- Updating shipment records
- Packaging products according to established procedures
You'll work closely with production, operations, and office teams to ensure orders are shipped accurately and inventory is properly received and stored.

What You'll Do
Shipping & Logistics
- Process outbound shipments using UPS WorldShip and other shipping platforms
- Accurately enter shipment information, including dimensions, weight, addresses, shipping methods, and reference information
- Generate and print packing slips and shipping documentation
- Update sales orders with shipment and tracking information
- Coordinate freight and LTL shipments with transportation providers
- Communicate shipment status and tracking information to internal teams
- Follow all shipping procedures and documentation requirements for regulated and hazardous materials, including lithium battery shipments
Receiving & Inventory
- Monitor incoming deliveries and dock activity
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase documentation
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials
- Deliver receiving documentation to appropriate internal teams
- Store materials and products according to warehouse organization and inventory procedures
Packaging & Order Fulfillment
- Pull inventory and prepare customer orders according to established procedures
- Package products to ensure safe and secure transportation
- Repackage products as needed to meet shipping requirements
- Build and palletize multi-piece shipments
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory accuracy and warehouse organization initiatives

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of packages weighing up to 40 pounds

Most technical skills for this role can be taught. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
