About the role
Walttools/ Contractor Source is a manufacturer/ retailer of tools and suppplies to the decorative concrete industry.
We're hiring a Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our marketing efforts across email, social media, and content production. We're in the middle of an exciting growth phase, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow right along with us: bringing the skills they've built in previous marketing roles and putting them to work in a place where that work gets noticed.
You'll join a tight-knit team spanning customer service, sales, and technical staff, and you'll have real input into how we improve and grow. This is a role for someone with a few years of marketing experience who's hungry for more responsibility, driven to keep improving, and ready to help shape how things are done.
Note: the training period is fully on-site before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.
What you'll do
Email marketing (ActiveCampaign)
- Write and edit newsletter content
- Build automations targeted to specific goals
- Increase subscriber open retention week over wek
Cold outreach (Lemlist)
- Test and optimize cold email components for different audiences — subject lines, intros, body copy, offers, and links.
- Maintain and clean contact lists
- Manage leads and coordinate with sales to move prospects into the funnel
Social media
- Learn our company outlook and develop a posting schedule that aligns with seasonal objectives
- Manage and grow our Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts
- Turn raw media into polished, informative, and project-inspiration content
- Repurpose in-house media into fresh formats — long-form into shorts and reels, and other digestible cuts
- Maintain or improve content design and branding
Contractor Content Program (future responsibility)
- Coordinate with contractors to film on-site projects or collect their photos and video
- Edit that footage into engaging content across platforms
Content direction
- Learn our product lines and content library, and decide what needs to be produced in-house
- Own and drive a content schedule across all platforms.
Cross-team collaboration
- Pass qualified leads to the sales team and keep communication flowing
- Contribute technical information to our customer support library
What we're looking for
- 2–5+ years of marketing experience, ready to take on more responsibility
- Video editing skills
- Experience with subscribed/opt-in email marketing
- Social media management experience
- Cold email experience
- Comfortable communicating with customers to source content
- Eager to learn new processes and contribute ideas to improve our marketing
- Able to use AI tools responsibly and effectively
- Strong with Google Workspace (specifically spreadsheets)
Nice to have
- Construction industry knowledge — a background in concrete, landscaping, or general construction is a big plus, preferrably experience marketing in these industries but general knowledge will help you accelerate your growth here.
- Technical proficiency
- Creativity, especially the ability to keep generating content from varied raw media
- Confidence to direct and implement a content schedule independently

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
