Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure a pleasant stay for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, adhering to hotel standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed to ensure guest comfort.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces throughout guest rooms.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Restock housekeeping supplies in assigned areas.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and pressed.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
