Trigger XR is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow new and existing client business focused on AI Smart Glasses, Spatial Computing, Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality, and emerging AI-powered immersive experiences, with a key focus on Sports, Performance Brands, Dual-Use Innovation, and Enterprise.
This role will help Fortune 1000 brands, sports leagues, teams, sponsors, entertainment companies, and enterprise clients identify how next-generation computing platforms—including AI smart glasses, mixed reality headsets, mobile AR, and AI-driven experiences—can transform customer engagement, workforce productivity, training, commerce, live events, fan engagement, and performance-focused use cases.Trigger XR delivers work through two complementary service models: bespoke / prototype development for custom client needs, and solutions / accelerators that help clients move faster by leveraging proven frameworks, reusable technology, and market-ready XR/AI capabilities.
Experience with XR, AR, VR, digital experiences, and enterprise solutions is ideal. Sports experience preferred.
This is a full-time, remote role reporting to Trigger XR’s CEO. West Coast or Southern California candidates are preferred. This is a high-priority hire, and we are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Develop and execute an organized sales strategy to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Grow Trigger’s business development pipeline through personal outreach, lead generation, and management of SDR support services.
- Present Trigger’s capabilities to prospective clients in a clear, compelling, and strategic way.
- Educate clients on emerging spatial computing platforms, including AI smart glasses, mixed reality headsets, AI-powered wearable devices, and immersive enterprise solutions.
Client Relationships & Strategic Account Growth
- Build and grow relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage several active high-profile accounts, ensuring strong communication, trust, and long-term growth potential.
- Serve as a consultative client partner from the proposal stage through the full project lifecycle.
Proposal Development & New Business Process
- Manage the development of bespoke client strategies, creative concepts, recommendations, proposals, presentations, and supporting sales materials across both custom prototype opportunities and Trigger’s solution / accelerator offerings.
- Collaborate with Trigger’s Creative, Technology, Finance, and Production teams to align scope, pricing, feasibility, budgets, and schedules for each opportunity.
- Directly pitch ideas, concepts, and recommendations to clients and prospects.
Collaboration & Internal Leadership
- Help ensure a smooth handoff from sales and proposal development into production.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Trigger’s business development process, proposal materials, and client-facing sales strategy.
