Wyckoff Farms Inc, a large, vertically integrated, Eastern Washington agricultural organization is in search of a Plant Controller. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and Finance, the Plant Controller will work closely with the Assistant Controllers and Division Managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of accounting records.
Essential Duties
- Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgetary reports, forecasts, and financial analyses for Executive Management and Division Management.
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Lead and support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations with a heavy focus on inventory.
- Ensure compliance with established financial close schedules and reporting deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external financial audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial information.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar field required.
- 3+ years of overall combined accounting and/or financial experience required.
- General knowledge of accounting processes and procedures is essential.
- Prior experience with agriculture and/or food processing operations preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
