Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Producer (Sales) to join our team. Duties
- Actively pursue new sales opportunities through outside sales efforts, including community engagement, networking, and telemarketing campaigns
- Build and maintain lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs and offering appropriate insurance solutions
- Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ insurance requirements across property casualty, life, and commercial lines to recommend suitable coverage options
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, quotes, and policy details efficiently
- Educate clients on various insurance products such as property casualty, life, and benefits administration programs while ensuring clear communication of coverage benefits
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes—including HIPAA—and product knowledge to provide expert guidance and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois state license as a Property & Casualty Insurance Producer with active licensing in relevant lines of insurance
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services industry (1 or more years)
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and regulations is essential; familiarity with HIPAA compliance and benefits administration is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems for effective sales management
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences across multiple channels
