Caregiver – New 6-Bed RCFE in Santa Rosa
$20/hour
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team at Fernwood Care Facility LLC, a brand-new 6-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in Santa Rosa. We are preparing to open our doors in early to mid-July 2026. Paid training and orientation will begin in late June for selected candidates.
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. At Fernwood Care Facility, caregiving is more than a job — it’s a calling. We value, support, and empower our caregivers every day.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or direct support experience preferred (will train the right person)
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a Live Scan background check
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient attitude
- Willingness to work morning, afternoon, evening, or night shifts
- Must be reliable and committed to resident rights and dignity
Responsibility
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs
- Administer medications as prescribed and document properly
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
- Document care and report any changes in resident condition
- Work collaboratively with the team and family members
