We Are Hiring – Full-Time CDL A SOLO Driver

Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? We are immediately hiring Class A CDL Solo Drivers to safely and efficiently operate dedicated FedEx Ground linehaul routes.
Available Positions:
1. Chicago Loop Run
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Origin: Zionsville, IN (461)
Start Time: Cut time between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM
Weekly Miles: Approximately 1,940 miles
Retention Time: Approximately 5–10 hours per week in Chicago
Compensation:
- $0.65 per mile
- $25.50 per hour for retention pay
Route Details:
- Depart from Zionsville, IN.
- Arrive at the Chicago Loop location and wait approximately 1–2 hours until 2:30 AM (Eastern Time) for preload cuts.
- Proceed to the FedEx location at 4111 Producers Drive to drop the rear trailer.
- Return to the Zionsville location to drop the final trailer.
- Typical finish time is between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
2. Toledo Run
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Origin: Zionsville, IN (461)
Start Time: Cut time between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM
Weekly Miles: Approximately 2,190 miles
Retention Time: Approximately 5–7.5 hours per week in Toledo
Compensation:
- $0.65 per mile
- $25.50 per hour for retention pay
Route Details:
- Depart from Zionsville, IN.
- Arrive in Toledo at approximately 1:00 AM (Eastern Time).
- Wait until approximately 2:30 AM for preload cuts.
- Return to Zionsville and drop the loaded trailer.
Job Requirements :
- Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last three years.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no accidents or moving violations within the past three years).
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Doubles/Triples endorsement.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
- Must complete Background Check, MVR Screening, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and Drug Test.
- Manual transmission experience preferred; no driving restrictions.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles (and triples where applicable).
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate driver logs.
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays, arrivals, or equipment issues.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
