General Labor / Operations Crew – San Gennaro Feast
Location: Little Italy, Manhattan, NYC
Dates: September 14–28, 2026
Pay: Competitive hourly rate — higher pay available for FDNY-certified workers
We are hiring reliable, hardworking crew members to assist with operations during the San Gennaro Feast in Little Italy.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading equipment and supplies
- Moving and staging propane tanks
- Delivering and exchanging tanks throughout the Feast
- General setup, breakdown, and cleanup
- Moving equipment between locations
- Assisting the operations team as needed
- Other general labor duties
Requirements
- Must be reliable and show up on time
- Must be comfortable performing physical work
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and move approximately 50–75 lbs
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and walking throughout the Feast
- Must follow all safety instructions and procedures
- Must be available for scheduled shifts during the Feast
FDNY Certifications — Higher Pay
G-44 and/or G-23 Certificate of Fitness are NOT required for general labor positions.
However, applicants with a current FDNY G-44 and/or G-23 Certificate of Fitness are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive a HIGHER HOURLY RATE.

We're Looking For
You don't need specialized experience for the general labor positions. We're looking for people who work hard, listen, show up when scheduled, and aren't afraid of physical work.
This is a fast-paced outdoor event in the heart of Little Italy. If you're dependable and work well with the crew, additional shifts and hours may be available throughout the Feast.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
