Position Overview
We are hiring an Operations Project Manager to lead our Seattle, Washington market.
This role is not for someone who wants to manage from a desk.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring:
- technical expertise
- operational discipline
- leadership presence
- execution under pressure
You will be responsible for owning field operations, leading technicians, and ensuring daily execution at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution
- Lead, manage and support day-to-day field operations across the SoCal market
- Ensure all scheduled work is completed efficiently and correctly
- Coordinate logistics and deployment of technicians based on skillsets
- Eliminate downtime and maximize productivity
Technical Oversight
- Diagnose and support repairs across:
- light duty
- medium duty
- heavy duty vehicles
- Step in and spend time with your team throughout various times of the month and turn wrenches and SHOW them how things need to be done.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting support to technicians
Inspection & Revenue Pipeline
- Perform high-level, detailed inspections
- Identify additional repair opportunities
- Ensure inspection quality meets AFS standards
Strong inspections = strong pipeline = strong market performance
Team Leadership
- Lead by example in the field
- Implement company policies through action and accountability
- Build a team culture where technicians:
- take pride in their work
- move with urgency
- support one another
Operational Discipline
- Ensure all on-site policies and procedures are followed
- Maintain safety standards at all times
- Work closely with the service department to:
- improve communication
- increase efficiency
- drive better outcomes
What We Are Looking For
This role requires a high-level operator with the following:
- Strong diagnostic capability (light, medium, and heavy duty)
- Proven ability to perform mechanical repairs hands-on
- Leadership experience managing field technicians
- Ability to execute without excuses or hesitation
- Strong logistical thinking and scheduling awareness
- Ability to identify technician strengths and weaknesses
- High attention to detail in inspections and documentation
- Team-first mentality — no ego, no blame, just solutions
Compensation Structure: Bonuses & Commissions
Phase 1 – Contract (45 Days)
- Total Compensation: $10,000
- First 15 Days:
- Learn AFS systems
- Understand operations
- Build rapport with team and departments
- Remaining 30 Days:
- Execute
- Lead
- Prove capability
AFS reserves the right to terminate the contract at any point within the 45-day period if performance does not meet our expectations.
Phase 2 – Full-Time Offer
Upon successful completion:
- Salary: $90,000.00-96,000.00 annually
- Performance-based:
- Bonuses – capped at $500 month
- Commissions – uncapped with no limitation
This role is designed to reward execution, leadership, and results.
There are two primary performance-based earnings components:
Pay: $90,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
