Position Summary
Impact Pest Control is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Additional Service Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting thorough residential inspections, identifying pest-related issues and property vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions that protect our customers' homes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a variety of environments, including roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas. You must be confident around pests, rodents, and wildlife while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
This is a sales-focused inspection position with significant earning potential for individuals who are driven, self-motivated, and skilled at building trust with homeowners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive residential inspections throughout the Houston area
- Identify rodent activity, entry points, termite concerns, wildlife issues, insulation deficiencies, and other pest-related problems
- Inspect roofs, attics, crawl spaces, garages, and other areas of the property
- Educate homeowners on findings and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and estimates
- Present and sell services including:
- Rodent Exclusion
- Insulation Services
- Termite Treatments
- Wildlife Removal and Exclusion
- Additional pest-related services
- Maintain a professional appearance and customer experience
- Complete an average of 6–7 inspections per day
- Collaborate with office staff and service technicians to ensure successful project completion
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
- Detail-oriented with strong observational skills
- Self-motivated and goal-driven
- Organized and capable of managing multiple appointments daily
- Comfortable working on roofs, in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces
- Comfortable around pests, insects, rats, rodents, and wildlife
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and navigate residential structures safely
Compensation
- Commission-only compensation structure

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
