Sage Oak of Denton is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. We are looking for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care, teamwork, and creating a positive environment for both residents and staff.
Position Details:
- 12-hour shifts (6 AM – 6 PM and 6PM-6AM)
- Rotating schedule
- Full-Time and PRN positions available
- Location: Sage Oak of Denton
- In-person position
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the caregiving team during shifts
- Provide hands-on nursing care with compassion and professionalism
- Monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and coordinate care plans
- Collaborate with staff, families, physicians, and leadership to ensure exceptional resident care
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Foster a positive, resident-centered environment and strong team culture
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Texas LVN or RN license required
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care required
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with medication administration and resident documentation
- Ability to work independently while leading and supporting the team
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
