American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist at a 636-bed, Magnet-designated Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI, with at least 2 years of acute or surgical experience required.

Located in Milwaukee, WI at a 636-bed Magnet-designated hospital with Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center designation

Radiology department includes 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room

Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges, with some pediatric patients
-
Average caseload of 15–20 patients per tech per day

Procedures include fluoroscopy (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases) and OR cases (ortho, general, spine)

Equipment includes GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems; GE 9900 and Elite C-arms; Medtronic O-arms; and McKesson PACS

EMR is Epic; experience preferred

5x8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM
-
Schedule follows a Monday–Friday rotation with every other weekend; one day off is given both the week leading into and following each work weekend
-
One on-call shift per week with three call windows: 6:30 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM–6:30 AM
-
One holiday is expected per contract

No floating to other units
-
Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical Rad Tech experience required, with most recent experience within the last year

ARRT certification required
-
WI state license required (license required if applicable)

Current BLS required
-
Proficiency in surgical/procedural imaging, general radiography, and portables required
-
Fluoro experience (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic, urology) required
-
OR imaging experience including ortho, general, and spine cases required; comfort with O-arm strongly preferred
-
Mid-to-high level acute care hospital experience required
-
At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN collected within the last year required for consideration

Candidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
-
Perform general radiography, portables, fluoroscopy procedures, and OR imaging across a high-acuity inpatient and outpatient environment

Department is fast-paced with high patient acuity
-
First-time travelers may be considered depending on skill level; highly competent surgery and procedural experience is expected
-
Department support includes a lead tech on first shift, radiologist on site 24/7, and staffing across all three shifts
-
Orientation includes a facility new employee orientation (NEO) followed by 7 days of department-specific training
-
Surgery scrubs are provided in house

Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for this position
