PROJECT COORDINATOR MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for managing key customer accounts while leading the Project Coordination team. This role serves as a primary customer contact, overseeing customer communication, order management, change orders, delivery performance, and issue resolution. The position works closely with Sales, Engineering, Scheduling, Production, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure customer commitments are met and projects are executed successfully from quote through shipment.

- ISO Compliance and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and coach Project Coordinators while managing assigned customer accounts.
- Serve as a primary contact for customer orders, changes, delivery issues, and escalations.
- Coordinate order execution from quote through shipment.
- Communicate customer requirements and priorities across internal teams.
- Work with Sales, Engineering, Scheduling, Production, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure customer commitments are achieved.
- Resolve issues impacting customer delivery, quality, cost, or schedule.
- Support quoting, APQP activities, engineering changes, and new product launches.
- Monitor key metrics including on-time delivery, order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and margins.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company processes and ERP systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Prior related office experience preferred.
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing or project coordination experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in customer service, quoting, scheduling, or capacity planning is beneficial
