Classroom Monitor 2026-2027
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Monitor. As a Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students in various settings. This is a vital role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage behavior, and experience working with children.
Duties:
- Supervise students in classroom setting
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for students
- Assist with students with teletherapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and development
- Provide assistance to students with special needs or individual education plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or in a childcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- Ability to work in a classroom environment and follow instructions from teachers
- Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures
