To provide leadership to 20-45 employees to deliver services to our customers that meet the deliverables in our service contracts. Effectively develop business and operational plans to ensure assets (people, equipment, processes, Services) are optimized. Meet regularly with property managers to ensure that their needs are met with in the deliverable scope of the service contract. Proactively implement corrective actions to meet business and customer requirements. Deliver increased value for our customers by cross-selling integrated services to our customers where we have the capability to provide additional service. Ensure all services are scheduled into our dispatch system to complete required work.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Crew Performance: Ensure crew leads, and drivers understand their accountabilities to service properties in a cost efficient manner. Provide them daily feedback regarding meeting standards of performance to ensure work is done correctly and safely at each customer premise.
2. Quality Performance: Take personal ownership of ensuring properties are being serviced correctly according to our contracts by following our property inspections monthly. Ensure monthly customer satisfaction surveys are being completed as a means to cultivate positive relationships and problem-solving forums with our customers.
3. Talent Management: Develop a manpower plan for each property that optimizes quality and is cost efficient for the company. Identify and or recruit Crew Leaders and employees that can raise our standard of performance and deliver consistency in service. Ensure crew leads and drivers have the maturity required to service our customer needs and to give employees direct feedback to enhance their personal effectiveness and career growth.
4. Business Planning: Develop operational strategies and tactics that improve business performance year over year. Identify and deploy cross-selling select service(s) to increase the margin earned on each customer account. Identify equipment requirements to meet business needs. Set standards of performance for each property. (Tack time for all services, FTE requirements, Labor hours, Equipment), and feedback reports weekly on meeting set metrics.
5. Positive Change Agent: Identify solutions that move our company to be an integrated service provider with strategic accounts. Resolve service gaps in our service agreements so that win-win solutions can be implemented for Ameri-pride and the customer.
6. Company Advocate: The Manager will proactively present the company in a positive manner and escalate customer concerns. It is expected that our managers would be a positive catalyst to have the right people involved to resolve issues that emerge. The manager is accountable to be an ambassador for our company, employees, processes to delivery quality services.
7. Safety: Ensure that you find ways to keep safety topics in front of your Leads, Drivers, and employees so they can work in a safe manner, and eliminate unsafe acts. Report all assets that are damaged by our employees and ensure corrective actions are in place to correct them. Demand housekeeping guidelines are followed, and all debris is removed from trucks and trailers.
8. Performance Management: Improve results by ensuring individuals take accountability for their jobs, and processes. Remove or replace Crew leads, drivers, and employees that are ineffective and are unwilling to be accountable to perform their jobs to expected standards. Rewards employees who are meeting and exceeding expectations of the job.
9. Operational Execution: Ensure all work routines are executed per standard operating procedures to minimize waste and downtime with company assets.
Education/Experience
· High School diploma required
· Bachelor’s Degree desired.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office
· Lawn maintenance experience 4-9 years
· Valid Driver’s licenses
· Experience in operating all equipment
· Experience is completing job estimates for new customers.
Associated Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1. Operation of lawn mowers and equipment
2. Routine repairs of hand equipment, to include but not limited to weed whackers, edger’s, Blowers, spray equipment.
3. Maturity to represent the company with multiple stakeholders
4. Conflict resolution capability to accurately scope out issues and identify a potential solution to resolve the area of concern.
5. Safety orientation to ensure unsafe acts are not committed at any point of operation.
Pace and standard setter for the crew to meet company expectations
Pay: $38,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
