Faith Community Church – Part-time Pastor

Faith Community Church (FCC) is seeking a Part-time Pastor, with a vision of the position growing into a full‑time Pastor.
The Part-time Pastor will provide strong spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and compassionate care for our congregation. We are a welcoming, mission‑minded church rooted in Congregational tradition and committed to growing in faith, service, and community.
Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership & Worship
- Provide overall spiritual leadership, including biblically based preaching for Sunday worship and teaching as needed.
- Work with the Worship Leader and Ministry Coordinator to plan orders of worship and incorporate meaningful elements into services.
- Actively participate in planning and leading additional worship services and special programs such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter.
Pastoral Care & Counseling
- Conduct pastoral care visits, baptisms, weddings, and funerals as needed.
- Provide pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance to individuals and families.
Church Leadership & Administration
- Work with the Board of Ministries and attend meetings as an ex‑officio member to offer support, guidance, and direction.
- Collaborate with the Trustee Committee and attend meetings to assist with sound financial decision‑making.
- Provide active input and support for other committees and task teams.
- Encourage and support the church’s missions and outreach efforts.
Community & Denominational Engagement
- Represent FCC with outside organizations such as the Wisconsin Congregational Association (WCA) and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches (NACCC).
- Be a visible leader who inspires, encourages, and equips others to lead
Congregational Growth & Development
- Lead with energy and vision to support continuing membership growth and spiritual development.
- Demonstrate a positive, hopeful spirit; be sincere, honest, and open in all interactions.
- Work with volunteers to promote and strengthen Children and Youth Ministry programs.
