Job Title: Press Brake Operator – Hourly
Reports To: Fabrication Supervisor
GENERAL SUMMARY
The press brake operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to accurately bend and shape sheet metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, precision measurement, and safety protocols to ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
- Must know how to run a press brake machine.
- Basic reading, writing, skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer, willing to train.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to translate drawings.

ESSENTAIL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce precise bends according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate fabrication
· Conduct required quality inspections and accurately complete all quality documentation.
· Organize and stack parts properly to ensure smooth transfer to the next department.
· Meet production targets and complete all production paperwork in real time during part runs.
· Safely operate the brake machine and remain alert to potential safety hazards when handling sheet metal components.
· Maintain an efficient, well-organized, and lean work area to maximize machine productivity.
- Such other duties as are assigned from time to time.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
- 100% quality coming off the press brake machine.
- Maintain good housekeeping, product organized and stored for ease of handling.
- Maintain compliance of all required documentation and production reporting.
- Maintain safe working practices.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
