POSITION SUMMARY
The Apprentice Electrician is a developing craft professional responsible for assisting with electrical and instrumentation work while learning proper methods, safety practices, and Mach standards under the supervision of Journeymen and Foremen. Apprentices are expected to work safely, learn quickly, follow direction, and build good habits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow all Mach and client safety rules, Participate in JSAs, permits, and LOTO briefings, and wear required PPE at all times and follow all safety proceedures.
- Support conduit, cable tray, and wire-pulling work, and help install panels, junction boxes, and devices. Perform grounding and bonding as directed, keeping work areas clean and organized.

Learn to read electrical drawings and schematics, including basic symbols, tags, and notes. Ask questions about scope or instructions, and report any discrepancies.

Properly use and care for tools and equipment. Stage and protect materials, keep work areas stocked, and report shortages early.

Observe proper installation methods and accept coaching positively. Self-check work with Journeyman guidance to build clean, professional habits.

Follow daily work plans and Foreman direction, staying engaged and productive with minimal downtime. Be punctual and dependable.

Respect Journeymen, Foremen, and peers, and maintain a positive attitude. Communicate clearly and honestly and represent Mach professionally on site.
