The Lark Center is seeking a mission-driven, open-minded, and creative speech therapist to become an integral part of our neurodiversity-affirming, multidisciplinary practice. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about moving the needle toward a more holistic and trauma-informed approach to therapeutic education and care. Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of speech therapists, assistants, and clinical interns through regularly scheduled meetings and observations
- Coordinate and oversee speech therapy sessions and groups in collaboration with other clinical department heads
- Participate in strengths-based multidisciplinary assessment, treatment planning, curriculum creation and progress reporting
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, physical therapists, mental health clinicians, physicians, educators, and caregivers to support holistic client care
- Produce written documentation that is timely, accessible to the reader, and strengths-based
- Assist with internal and external trainings in order to help grow the clinical competence of our teams and disseminate our methodology to outside organizations.
Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric neurodivergent populations in school, outpatient, or home-based models
- Strong understanding of gestalt language processing, AAC, and total communication
- Experience supervising speech-language pathologists and/or clinical interns or fellows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with educational settings is preferred
- Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professional practice standards
- Current Massachusetts licensure to practice speech-language pathology
- Able to dependably commute to Norwood, MA.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
