Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through outbound telemarketing, outside sales, and retail sales channels to promote Medicare insurance options
- Utilize warm leads to initiate meaningful conversations and build trust with potential customers
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend suitable Medicare plans that align with clients’ health requirements and financial situations
- Negotiate plan details effectively, ensuring clients understand benefits, coverage options, and costs
- Maintain accurate sales administration records, including client information, policy details, and follow-up activities
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining plan features clearly, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and benefits administration standards
Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Medicare Insurance Agent or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience in insurance sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client populations
- Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate plans
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems for tracking client interactions
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance during all client interactions
