Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep buildings comfortable and energy-efficient while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment including package units, boilers, chillers, and VRF systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify problems accurately.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair procedures and recommend system improvements.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation of all work performed.
Skills
- Proven experience service technician roles within the commercial HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Skilled in HVAC system repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical diagnostics, boiler operation, and air conditioning theory.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics; proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; EPA certification required for refrigerant handling.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to equipment repair and maintenance tasks.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
