Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform order picking using equipment such as <PERSON> pickers and order picker machines to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage warehouse inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ensuring proper stock levels and accurate record-keeping
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and preparing items for dispatch
- Conduct routine equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain optimal forklift and heavy equipment performance
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing materials handling activities and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety procedures, and enhance overall warehouse management
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or materials handling is preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment
