Are you passionate about helping others and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment? Oakwood Senior Living, a warm and welcoming assisted living community, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to support our residents with their daily nutritional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents
- Follow menus and dietary guidelines as directed by the Dietary Manager
- Ensure meals are served on time and presented in a clean, appealing manner
- Set up dining areas and deliver food trays to residents as needed
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and dining areas
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare settings preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and patient demeanor when interacting with residents
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
