We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions.
Compensation:
$16 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:-
Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage the performance of maintenance staff.
- Assist in budget planning, including estimating costs for repairs and capital improvement projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards.
Qualifications:-
Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software systems.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, including team leadership.
