Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and innovative entry-level Electrical Engineer based at our Counterbalance Development Center (CBDC) in Portland, Oregon .
This position plays an important role in developing lift trucks and implementing robotic technology into current products by creating, modifying , and implementing solutions across multiple platforms. As a global team-member you will interact with all aspects of the organization; including manufacturing, procurement, and test , to ensure that we deliver quality trucks .
Design and develop electrical systems and components for industrial trucks, ensuring performance, durability, and reliability.
Document designs and evaluations, supporting manufacturing, marketing, and service departments for efficient product delivery.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Basic understanding of electrical components, circuits, control theory, electric motor drive theory, power electronics, and battery management systems.
Basic skills in drafting, computer-aided design (CAD), design layouts, engineering analysis, and automotive technology.
