Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Recovery Station Staff to provide essential support within our behavioral health and developmental disability programs. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of individuals receiving care, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other behavioral health needs. Responsibilities
- Monitor and support individuals during their stay at the recovery station, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Conduct vital signs assessments and document medical records accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and maintain meticulous medical documentation
- Implement behavior management strategies based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to support positive behavioral changes
- Respond promptly to crises or emergencies by executing effective crisis management and intervention procedures
- Collect data related to patient behaviors, progress, and treatment responses for ongoing assessment and reporting
- Support intake processes by gathering relevant medical history, conducting assessments, and coordinating with healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or neurodiverse populations such as autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and experience managing behavioral health crises
- Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical records management
- Background in special education, addiction counseling, or social work is advantageous
- Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA standards and maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR software for documentation and data collection
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, patients, families, and healthcare providers
