Keep the network computing systems operating efficiently and assure that computing standards are implemented and enforced.
To provide support and training to Credit Union personnel in the use of office automation products, personal computers, on-line application systems, user-based peripherals, etc.

Installs, supports, and manages the PC and network hardware/software components; responds to and develops solutions for component failures and complex technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computing infrastructure.

Provides ongoing support to all Credit Union staff in the use of enduser hardware and software products.

Trains Credit Union staff to use standard PCbased office software by providing formal and/or one on one training and coordinating thirdparty training providers. Notifies users of new useful features available through product updates. Ensures Credit Union employees know how to care for and maintain their terminals, printers, and PCs and understand procedures for data backup, network access, etc.

Assists in development of internal documentation of user and IT procedures.

Ensures administrative control over the enduser hardware and software assets of the Credit Union, as well as related supplies and accessories, through maintenance of inventories, files, logs, etc.

Provide friendly, professional, accurate service and support to all staff and associates by responding to email, phone messages, and correspondence.

Troubleshoot PC and network related problems in a timely manner.

Successfully install appropriate hardware or software within the specified time frames.

Keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department.

Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of hardware, operating system and network concepts.
Experience- Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education- (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills- Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
1.Experience in PC usage and hardware/software support.
2. Experience with modern Microsoft operating systems is required
3. Networking experience is required.
4. Ability to diagnose problems over a WAN in remote locations.
5. Must be able to install, troubleshoot, and support personal computers, network and data communications software and hardware and be familiar with basic programming logic, processing concepts and terminology, and processing rigors.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver in small/tight spaces.
