Join our dynamic team as a Restoration Technician Trainee specializing in Contents Cleaning and Packout! Responsibilities
- Assist with contents cleaning, including packing out items for cleaning or storage using proper techniques and equipment
- Support fire, flood, mold, and water damage restoration projects by handling contents safely and efficiently
- Operate company vehicles and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines and training
- Follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection at all times during job sites
- Participate in emergency response readiness activities such as on-call coverage for urgent situations
- Help with the setup and breakdown of work sites, ensuring all tools and materials are properly used and stored
- Maintain detailed documentation of contents condition, cleaning processes, and work performed to ensure quality control
Requirements
- Willingness to learn industry-specific skills such as Xactimate estimating software, mold remediation techniques, asbestos abatement procedures, carpet cleaning, and use of hand tools
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and working in confined or challenging environments
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and proper handling of power tools and construction materials
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations
- Emergency response readiness with the ability to be on-call for urgent restoration needs
- Prior experience in construction or restoration industry is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles preferred
