We are seeking an organized, proactive, and highly detail-oriented Accounting Managerto oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring solid, practical experience in managing both daily administrative workflows and high-level corporate reporting. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Tracking: Take ownership of daily accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Manage invoicing, documentation control, and general administrative processes.
Reconciliations & Ledger Management: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other general ledger accounts to ensure total accuracy and timeliness.
Financial Reporting: Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce precise financial reports. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Financial Insights: Provide key financial insights and data-driven recommendations to executive leadership to support long-term strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and analyze corporate budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure strict compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure data integrity, and minimize risk under U.S. GAAP.
Key Qualifications & Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical accounting experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in similar accounting or financial management roles.
- Hands-on experience managing accounting records, general ledger maintenance, and bank or credit card reconciliations.
- Proven track record handling full accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) lifecycles, month-end and year-end closing processes, and accurate financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, alongside advanced Excel skills
- Solid experience managing invoicing, documentation control, and standard corporate administrative workflows.
- Deep understanding and practical application of the U.S. GAAP principles.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks effectively.
- Proactive, problem-solving skills coupled with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
