Job Summary
Join our Rapid Oil Change team as a Lube Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining vehicle performance and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties
- Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements quickly and accurately to meet dealership standards
- Assist with basic vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, belts, hoses, and other essential components
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform maintenance tasks efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide friendly customer interactions by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Requirements
- No experience required, but automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong understanding of automotive service procedures
- Previous mechanic or service technician experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance practices
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Mechanical knowledge related to oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general vehicle upkeep
- Valid driver’s license with a reliable transportation; willingness to learn our specific processes
