Controller/Accountant for a Multinational Company
A multinational company headquartered in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced financial and accounting executive to work directly with CEO of Los Angeles based manufacturer / wholesaler of fashion products with multi-national sales. Work directly with CEO in overseeing national and international sales operations. Must be available to travel occasionally to international destinations both with CEO and independently. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple and diverse tasks. This position joins an existing Controller as well as other staff, with intention to advance to position of Controller.
Must be able to handle all aspects of accounting including the G/L, cash flow, month end close, inter-company transactions, prepare financial analysis and summaries, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with supporting schedules, accounting for oversight of international sales subsidiaries. Assist in tax compliance, return preparation and audit in all states. Additionally, will oversee all liability, casualty and workman’s comp insurance issues/audits.
CPA, 10+ years accounting experience and strong computer skills required. Advanced degree preferred. Conversant in other languages a plus.
Applicants must be conversant in Oracle based accounting programs including accounting and related components, MRP manufacturing, bar coding, and EDI retailing.
Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience
