American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of EP experience for a Magnet-designated, Level 4 Trauma teaching hospital.

Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
-
Adult patient population including middle adult and older adult age groups
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Procedures include cardiac catheterization, EP studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies
-
Uses EPIC charting system
-
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Wednesday shifts running 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM to accommodate a required 7:00-8:00 AM education session

Weekend coverage required
-
Call required, including scrubbing for EP cases
-
No floating within the hospital required beyond the assigned unit

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab / EP Technologist, with required EP experience

BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required

WA Radiology Tech license or WA Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist license required (license required if applicable)

CCI RCES or CCI RCIS certification preferred

Trauma Level II experience preferred

EPIC charting experience preferred
-
Skilled in interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Able to function as room circulator and scrub while maintaining a sterile field

Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use

First-time travelers accepted
