Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly demeanor, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with integrity
- Upsell menu items such as premium drinks or specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety guidelines and restaurant policies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall team efficiency
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning work areas
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Food safety certification or understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry
- Culinary or kitchen experience is desirable but not required; a passion for food industry trends is appreciated
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
