Company Overview:
Parimer Scientific is a small pharmaceutical contract development & manufacturing organization (CDMO) of about 10 scientists. Clients contract Parimer to develop their biotechnology and support clinical trials. It is a growing independently owned company. To keep up with the growth, Parimer is hiring a new scientist to support one of our research teams
Job Summary:
The new hire will work in a small team (2-3 people) alongside a Senior Scientist and Project Manager as a key scientific contributor to complete client's objectives. Currently, Parimer manufactures small quantities (kilograms) of high value products in regulated fields in which reactions are done by hand in small vessels or small production equipment. The candidate is expected to setup, clean, and operate this equipment.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, the new hire will: follow Standard Operating Procedures, Test Methods, and Production Batch Sheets to complete tasks including manufacturing, cleaning, and product packaging. Additionally, the new hire will support the Project Manager in other duties as needed including reports, updates, paperwork and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Current right to work in USA
- BS in Chemistry / Material Science / Polymer Science or other similar degrees with strong Organic Chemistry knowledge
- 2+ years experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any prior R&D experience would be helpful
- Any prior experience with ISO 9001 or FDA regulated companies would be helpful
