SWIM INSTRUCTOR/LIFEGUARD
Hi-Five Sports Camp Chicago is looking for a Swim Instructor/Lifeguard with strong leadership skills and creativity in planning programs and activities for campers and experience in implementing and following through on action plans. Campers will be ages 4-8.
Days of the Week: Typically Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Time: 1-Hour Window between 9:45 AM - 11:45 AM (I.e. 10 AM - 11 AM)
Qualifications
- Current Red Cross (or similar) Lifeguard Certification
- Current Water Safety Instruction (WSI) Certification
- Current certification in first aid and CPR
- Ability to communicate and work with groups participating and provide necessary instruction to participants and staff
- Experience working in camp setting with children (preferable)
- Ability to pass a background check, a physical, and proof of immunizations
- Upbeat, positive and engaging personality
- Strong work ethic; proactive, responsible and accountable by nature
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per day
