Requirements:
o Must be at least 21 years of age.
o High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
o Proper HVAC certification obtained from an accredited educational school.
o 2+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
o Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
o Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
o Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
o Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
o Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
o Ability to work in confined spaces.
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
o Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
o Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
o Must be able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
o Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Responsibilities:
o Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
o Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
o Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
o Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing PM jobs.
o Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
o Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
o Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
o Complying with service standards, work instructions and company requirements.
o Follow site inspection checklists to complete routine HVAC inspections
o Clean HVAC components such as blowers, coils, filters, and grills
o Conduct performance tests on all types of HVAC systems and equipment
o Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in HVAC systems
o Repair all HVAC equipment following manufacturer recommendations
o Organize and track inventory to limit supply losses to the company
o Address internal customer concerns before, during, and after service work order.
o Follow occupational health and safety regulations
o Comfortable working outside of traditional job descriptions, willing to help team members in any of our operations departments as needed.
o Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall facilities are in good conditions and a safe place to work. order planning and fulfillment.
