Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load, unload, and organize delivery orders efficiently to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ specified locations while maintaining professionalism and friendly communication
- Handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading orders, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
- Use route navigation tools to plan efficient delivery routes, maximizing productivity and minimizing delays
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management or stock movement using forklifts or pallet jacks when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicles to ensure optimal operation at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience handling heavy lifting, moving items, or working in warehouse environments is a plus
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles or box trucks beneficial
- Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not required; training can be provided
- Comfortable working independently on route driving assignments while managing time effectively
