Position Overview
This Customer Service Representative – Insurance role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and working in a professional office environment. Whether your background is in customer service, retail, reception, banking, or as a bank teller, your customer‑first mindset will shine here. You’ll support group policy administration, communicate with customers, and ensure accurate, timely service for a nationally recognized insurance leader.
What You’ll Do
- Customer communication — Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Policy administration — Support group policy setup, billing, premium collection, reconciliation, and policy changes.
- Account updates — Process group terminations and final accounting.
- Proactive outreach — Contact customers to resolve issues and build long‑term loyalty.
- Cross‑department collaboration — Work with internal teams to ensure accurate service delivery.
- Quality standards — Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and high‑quality documentation.
- Special projects — Assist with assignments as needed.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, call center, retail, hotel front desk, bank teller, banking, or receptionist roles.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Insurance experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong phone etiquette and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently or in a team.
Schedule & Pay
- Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- Pay: $19.50/hr
- Employees paid weekly
