Data Metalcraft is hiring a Powder Coat Paint Applicator to learn and grow with our company. DMI is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded fiber optic cabinets. We are an A rated supplier to our vendors and develop long lasting relationships.
Schedule: M-F 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply coatings to various surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Ability to efficiently use electrostatic guns
- Filling pots with powder
- Electrostatic gun and line cleanup
- Application of powder to parts
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- 1 year experience in powder coat gun booth
- Proficient in electrostatic guns
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus
