General Accountant (Bookeeping and Operations)
Location: San Juan
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping & Operations Coordinator to support the company's accounting and daily business operations. This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping experience who also enjoys coordinating administrative and operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Record journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer billing.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
Operations
- Coordinate daily office and operational activities.
- Support inventory tracking and purchasing processes.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain records.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, and administrative projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
